Who We Are
Footage Fusion services are provided by Footage Fusion LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect the details you provide when you purchase or set up a Family Stories or Ovation project — name, email, billing information, and the names and contact details of storytellers or participants you invite. Where a contributor is under 18, we also collect the name and email address of the parent or legal guardian who provides consent, along with a record of that consent.
Video Recordings
Recordings submitted through your project are used to produce the finished video you ordered. We do not sell recordings, and we never use your finished video, raw recordings, images, likeness, testimonial or private family story in Footage Fusion advertising, portfolio or marketing without separate permission from you.
How We Use Information
To deliver your project, communicate about it, process payment, provide support, and improve the recording experience.
Sharing
We use service providers for functions such as payment processing, video recording, email and text messaging, hosting and storage, production workflow, delivery and infrastructure. They may only process information as needed to provide those services, and we may change providers as needed to deliver the service.
Access And Retention
You can watch, share and download your finished video. We retain project files for a reasonable operational period so you can access them, but we do not promise forever storage, permanent storage or lifetime hosting — please download and keep your own copy. Canceling a subscription does not by itself delete content already completed for you.
Content Flagged Under Our Content Standards
If we become aware that submitted content may violate our Content Standards, we may remove it from your project and retain it separately as required by law or in connection with a legal request, rather than deleting it immediately.
Text Messages And SMS Consent
We text you only if you opt in yourself by checking a separate, optional, unchecked text-message consent box — entering a phone number by itself is never treated as consent to receive texts. When you do opt in, we text you only about your own project: setup instructions, recording invitations, recording reminders, project updates, customer support, and final delivery notifications. These are service messages, never marketing. We store the date and time of consent, the number, the exact wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, and the page it happened on. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately, or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
SMS Privacy
Footage Fusion does not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to provide our messaging and related services.
Purchase And Acceptance Records
When you complete a paid checkout we store a record of your acceptance: the order or checkout identifier, the time you accepted, the Terms and Privacy versions you agreed to, the product and package, and — for subscriptions — the recurring amount and frequency disclosed to you. These records are visible only to authorized Footage Fusion staff.
Your Choices
You may choose email only at any time, reply STOP to end texts, or request a copy or deletion of your information by contacting stories@footagefusion.com.
