I Meant To Record My Mom's Stories.
She told the same stories my whole life — the ones about her childhood, our family, the things she believed. I always figured I'd sit down with her one day and get them on video.
Then she got sick, and things got worse by the day, and that day never came.

What is Family Stories?
A simple way to capture a loved one's memories, experiences and wisdom in their own face and voice. They answer guided questions on video, and we organize the answers into a finished film for your family. You can also purchase it to record your own story.
How many questions do we get?
That's what the packages are: 5, 10 or 15 stories. You can always add more stories later.
Do they have to record it all at once?
Not at all. We recommend setting aside some time — even one sitting — to record the full set. Having a plan for when you'll do it is the best way to make sure it actually gets done. Some answers naturally take a little longer, and the recording window gives you flexibility if you need it.
Can someone help the storyteller record their answers?
Absolutely. A spouse, family member, caregiver or friend can read the question aloud and press record. The story and the words are still entirely the storyteller's — the help is just with the phone or camera.
Do I need any equipment or an app?
No. Everything happens through a private link that opens in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to download and nothing to set up.
What if the person recording isn't good with technology?
They tap one link, see one question at a time, and press record — and they can re-record as many times as they want. They also don't have to do it alone. A family member can hold the phone, read them the questions and hit record for them. If anyone gets stuck, email us and we'll walk them through it.
How long does it take to get the finished video?
The clock starts once all the recordings are in. We'll confirm the delivery date with you after purchase, and you'll hear from us at each step so you're never guessing.
Can I buy this as a gift?
Yes. Most Family Stories projects begin with a family member who wants to capture someone they love. You can pay, choose the package and help with setup; your loved one answers the prompts in their own words, and the finished collection belongs to the family.
Do I get to keep it?
Yes. Your finished video is a standard video file that plays on any phone, tablet, computer or TV — nothing to install. Watch it any time from your account, share the private link with family, and download your own copy whenever you like. Your video stays safely stored with us, download any time for your own copy too.
Who can see our videos?
Only the people you share the link with. We don't publish, sell or use your recordings for marketing without your written permission.
